Mercadia was founded in 2017, inspired by a powerful realization during a field research trip in late 2016. At that time, Jasmine Dang (Dang Hoang Oanh), co-founder and CEO of Mercadia, discovered that Cambodia had no professional company dedicated to immigration consulting. The global immigration map did not yet include the Cambodian people.

Determined to change that, Jasmine established Mercadia out of love for Cambodia and belief in its people. From the very beginning, our mission has been clear: to help Cambodian pursue their dreams of international investment, work, and migration. Since then, Mercadia has proudly helped
over 1,000 Cambodians secure legal residency abroad.
